Our word of the day is myopia.
Myopia means when your eyes can’t see far-away things clearly, but things that are close up look just fine!
It’s kind of like having blurry superpowers for things really far away, but your normal vision works great for reading a book or playing with toys right in front of you.
Sometimes people call it being “nearsighted.” Lots of kids and grown-ups have myopia, and usually, glasses or contact lenses help them see everything clearly again!
