How to Make Your Story Exciting
A story becomes interesting when something changes.
Don’t let your character simply:
Wake up → eat → go to school → come home → sleep.
Give the character a problem.
For example:
David arrived at school and discovered that the science project he had worked on for three weeks was missing.
Now he has something to solve.
Keep asking:
“What happens next?”
